Lamborghini Collision Repair
Lamborghini is an Italian automaker that was founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963. Ferrucci Lamborghini wanted to create vehicles and engines that would successfully be able to compete against other high-end luxury vehicles, such as Ferrari vehicles. Very few collision centers are equipped with the right technicians, know how, or equipment to repair the auto body damage on a Lamborghini.
From 1963 To 1987
During these years, Lamborghini produced many models; however, the company kept the number of each model that it produced relatively low in order to increase the prices of the vehicles.
The Miura, which was manufactured in 1966, quickly gained recognition throughout the world as one of the most well-designed sports car of the era, and the Miura was one of the first vehicles to feature a rear mid-engine.
Despite Lamborghini’s high quality vehicles, the company was having trouble making a profit. When an economic downturn occurred in 1973, the profits of many luxury automakers fell drastically, and Lamborghini’s profits fell by more than fifty percent.
Lamborghini was sold from one parent company to another after 1973, and in 1987, Chrysler decided to purchase Lamborghini.
From 1987 To 2013
Despite the fact that Lamborghini was still earning relatively low profits, Chrysler ensured that Lamborghini vehicles were manufactured with the highest quality materials, and the company launched an aggressive marketing campaign.
Between 1987 and 1994, Lamborghini produced several famous vehicles, such as the LM002 and the Diablo, that still have higher values today than most new sports cars on the market.
In 1994, Chrysler sold the famous automaker to two firms that were based in Indonesia and in Malaysia, and in 1998, these firms sold Lamborghini to Audi.
Audi quickly turned Lamborghini into a profitable company, and Lamborghini continued to earn exceptionally high profits and churn out new models, such as the Murciélago, the Gallardo and the Reventon. All of these new models had a top speed of over 200 mph.
Lamborghini began to manufacture the Gallardo in 2003, and the Gallardo is still one of the most popular vehicles that Lamborghini has ever offered.
The vehicle has a V10 engine that produces 550 horsepower, and its extremely wide wheelbase and low center of gravity allow it to handle exceptionally tight turns with ease.
The Aventador was first introduced in 2012, and it is the fastest vehicle that Lamborghini has ever produced.
The Aventador has a V12 engine that offers 700 horsepower, and the price of a new Aventador is around $397,000, which is $200,000 more than the cost of a new Gallardo.
